Thanks to this rejuvenating Mindful Glow experience coming to Portland on August 12, you can relieve bodily tensions and alleviate those feelings of stress and anxiety while unwinding in a serene candlelit setting.
Practicing relaxation is paramount to reducing stress and getting us feeling like ourselves again. To help you achieve a state of complete tranquility, this soothing experience combines mindful meditation with calming breathwork exercises which help promote calmness, mental clarity and stress relief. This summer, Miller Hall will be illuminated by a sea of glowing candles to create a tranquil ambiance so that you completely immerse yourself in the calming magic of Mindful Glow.
Led by a skilled practitioner with years of experience, this candlelit Mindful Glow session will be combining tried and tested relaxation techniques that will have you feeling restored, refreshed and rejuvenated in no time. The practitioner will guide you through effective meditation and breathing exercises to help relax the muscles, heal the mind and open blocked energy channels.
What’s more, once the session comes to an end, you can apply what you’ve learnt to help you relax in the comfort of your own home. It’s safe to say that this enchanting meditation and breathwork session is as much a learning experience as it is an opportunity to reach a level of complete relaxation.
Each Mindful Glow experience is 60 minutes long, and you can choose between an 11:30 am and 1:30 pm session. Blankets will be on hand to ensure maximum comfort and you’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat. You can also rent a mat for an additional cost upon purchasing your ticket.
